Of course, although the construction phase of the garden is completed, the process of this new space becoming ‘your garden’ has really only just started. Recently planted trees need watering, herbaceous beds need weeding, and new hedges are already sprouting shoots and looking woolly!

Any space that is created with living materials will and must evolve - we have to plan for this and make sure we keep it heading in the direction we want. This is where the personality of your garden will  develop.
